What an incredible summer it has been for Inspired Performance Missions!
This summer, we had the privilege of sending two mission teams to Nicaragua, and I was able to spend extended time in-country serving alongside our ministry partners and being the hands and feet of Jesus.
When I look back at all that God allowed us to be a part of, I am truly overwhelmed. Lives were impacted, hearts were encouraged, and eternities were changed—all for His glory!
Here is just a snapshot of what God did in Nicaragua this summer:
- 153 people heard the gospel.
- 65 people received Christ as their Savior.
- 27 people rededicated their lives to Christ and the church.
- 155+ children were served through four different feeding programs.
- 8 churches were ministered to through weekly services.
- 8 elderly home visits brought encouragement, prayer, and connection.
- 60+ people attended an evangelism conference to learn how to share their faith.
- 243+ women were ministered to through three women’s conferences and one women’s Bible study.
- 85+ women learned about both their physical and spiritual health through four women’s health events.
- 35 youth participated in a youth event.
- 67+ pastors and pastors’ wives were encouraged, refreshed, and ministered to.
Wow.
And to think that these numbers only tell part of the story.
Behind every number is a person.
Behind the 65 people who received Christ is a story. Behind every child who was fed is a face. Behind every woman who attended a conference is a heart that needed encouragement. Behind every pastor and pastor’s wife is someone who needed to be reminded that they are not alone.
These numbers represent lives—and lives are what matter.

I am absolutely blown away and in awe of what God allowed our teams and me to be a part of this summer. But one of the sweetest parts has been hearing how deeply the trips impacted the team members themselves.
Many came home with a renewed sense of gratitude for the things we so easily take for granted here in the States. Many will never forget the faces of the people they met or the moments they shared. They saw firsthand how a smile, a meal, a prayer, an encouraging word, or the message of the gospel can make a difference.
And for many, they came home different than when they left.
That is one of the beautiful things about missions: we go to serve, but God changes us, too.
We will never truly know the full impact of the ministry that took place this summer—not while we are here on Earth, anyway.
We may never know how far one conversation traveled, how many people will hear the gospel because someone surrendered their life to Christ, or how many families will be affected because one person chose to follow Jesus.
But I believe the seeds that were planted this summer will continue to grow.
I believe the encouragement that was given will continue to strengthen people.
I believe the gospel that was shared will continue to change lives.
And I believe the work God began in Nicaragua this summer is far from finished.
The numbers tell us what happened. The stories remind us why it matters. And only eternity will reveal the full impact.

Would you continue to be in prayer with us for the people of Nicaragua and for the teams that went? Pray that what the Lord did this summer will continue to change lives for weeks, months, and years to come.
Pray for the new believers—that they would grow in their relationship with Jesus and become rooted in His Word. Pray for the pastors and church leaders who continue serving faithfully week after week. Pray for the children, women, families, and communities that we had the privilege of ministering to. And pray for the seeds that were planted—that they would take root and produce fruit far beyond anything we could ever imagine.
Most importantly, pray that the name of Jesus would continue to be lifted high in Nicaragua.
Our teams may have returned home, but the work God is doing there continues. The relationships continue. The prayers continue. The seeds continue to grow.
And we are already looking forward to seeing what He does next!
Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, encouraged, and helped make these ministry opportunities possible. You are a part of every life touched and every story that came out of this summer. We could not do this alone, and we are so grateful for every person who has chosen to partner with Inspired Performance Missions.
This summer was incredible, but we know this is only the beginning.
The mission continues. The harvest is plentiful. And there is still so much work to be done.
Until next time, Nicaragua—we love you, we are praying for you, and we cannot wait to see what God does next!
To God be all the glory!
